Description
A bold expression of traditional craftsmanship, Shibori highlights the intricate beauty of Japanese tie-dye techniques.
Defined by its distinctive geometric composition, the pattern is created through the labor-intensive shibori process—where fabric is bound, folded, and dyed to form rich textures and organic variations. Warm tones of ochre and rust contrast with soft neutrals, creating depth and visual rhythm.
Crafted from vintage shibori kimono, each piece carries the mark of time and handwork. The pattern flows seamlessly across the garment, balancing structure with natural irregularity. At the chest, individual embroidery is carefully added by hand—an intimate detail that makes every garment even more personal and unique.
No two pieces are ever alike—each one is a unique result of both tradition and transformation.
