Sustainable Fashion & Japanese Textile Craft Internship
EDYA1929 is a sustainable fashion brand that creates contemporary garments and accessories from vintage Japanese kimonos.
By working with traditional materials through careful, small-scale production, we aim to preserve cultural value while redefining it for the present.
We are offering an internship opportunity for students who wish to gain hands-on experience in textile craftsmanship, sustainable fashion practices, and studio-based work.

Internship Responsibilities
Interns will support studio activities, including:
Unpicking and disassembling vintage Japanese kimonos
- Ironing and fabric preparation
- Organizing textiles, materials, and documents
- Simple handcraft tasks
(e.g. button sewing, attaching name labels) - Basic website content updates
No prior experience is required. All tasks will be taught with care and guidance.

- Location: EDYA1929 Studio, Silang, Cavite
- Schedule: Several days per week
- Time: Afternoon
- Eligibility: Open to students (any field of study)
- Requirement: Must be able to commute to the studio
