Rise
RISE โIt means to be reborn, and to rise again.Kimonos once discarded, given another chanceto spread their wings and travel the world.Crossing borders, beginning a new lifeโtheir journey mirrored her own. That is why she could do it.Because it was not just fashion,it was life itself. This is EDYA.A story of rebirth and strength, where what was once forgottenrises againโbeautifully.

EDYA began here.I left my home country, Japan, and found myself in the Philippinesโa place of swaying palm trees, quiet Catholic churches, and a gentle flow of time that echoed the days of Spanish influence. One day, I stumbled upon a small thrift shop.As I stepped inside, something caught my eyeโan old, stained kimono, worn by time and travel. In that moment, I saw myself in it.A kimono that had crossed the sea, arriving far from where it beganโjust as I had.Revived. Reborn. That encounter became the beginning of EDYA.A story of giving new life,of weaving Japanese tradition with the warmth of the Philippines, and allowing something once forgotten to shine again. This is where everything started.
